Deep into the roots of man's soul, Eta Carinae has uncovered sources of inspiration for his classical and post-rockish-ambiental project entitled "Sister Anorexia" EP, a title that is only to imply very personal experience and introvert perceptions transformed into deep pads and nostalgic melodies.
The EP consists of three tracks, each being a different exploration of inner self. "Spätrot" opens with a blend of field recordings and echoed piano, only to evolve some minutes later into a majestic cinematographic piece accompanied by female speech carrying out personal confessions and and statements. Quite the opposite, "Membran 21.G" is cold, minimalistic, dark and industrialized piece, although occasional flute tunes may try to shed light in what is being structured as a world of despair and regret. This track however ends somehow unexpectedly as piano piece falls out of nowhere in order to bring in some human presence and to comfort the listener enough for the next extraordinary track - "Spektrum XYYX". And this is where Marko has focused his storyline by bringing our attention to child's cries, church bells, unearthly choirs, ghastly moans, and all this mixed into a 16-minute dark ambient lecture about life, death and the meaning of both.
